Wisconsin Arts Board Federal Match Shortfall – act now for state investment in the arts and creativity

The Wisconsin Arts Board was recently awarded additional federal funds by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). This is excellent news for Wisconsin and recognition of the great work happening throughout the state.

However, the Wisconsin Arts Board’s FY2020 grant awards are being delayed because there is uncertainty about the state funds needed to match the federal funding.  Until the Arts Board knows the amount of the state match, the agency can’t determine grant amounts and distribute its funding.

Right now, 167 nonprofit arts businesses in Wisconsin are awaiting their FY 2020 Wisconsin Arts Board grant award.  We need your help to move past this impasse.  Click here to learn more about what needs to happen and what you can do to help make it happen.
