Arts Wisconsin’s work to grow Wisconsin creatively and equitably is critically important right now. As Wisconsin’s leading independent community cultural development organization, Arts Wisconsin is activating creativity as essential to meet the moment and move into the future. Help Arts Wisconsin move forward, speak up, and serve with a fierce commitment to optimism, energy, and strategic change.
The arts and creativity provide a means for human expression, processing the unknown, and communicating across cultures. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, before the pandemic, the creative industries leveraged more than $10.1 billion to Wisconsin’s economy and employed over 96,000 of its residents (more jobs than in the state’s beer, biotech, and papermaking industries).
Now, the industry needs significant advocacy and assistance to come back with a flourish. We are in awe of the creativity demonstrated in response to the crisis, and proud of the leadership Arts Wisconsin has provided to champion Wisconsin’s creative sector. We’re working tirelessly to provide comprehensive resources for reopening and relief funding; be the constant voice for the creative sector with decision-makers; serve as a source for information and ideas about the arts, culture, and creativity; and more.
You can donate through GiveGab or PayPal, or, if you prefer, you can send a check to Arts Wisconsin, Box 1054, Madison, WI 53701-1054.
The only way through this is together. We appreciate your support to help Arts Wisconsin keep Wisconsin creative.
