- The Event Safety Alliance Reopening Guide from the Event Safety Alliance
- CARES Act (national emergency stimulus bill), includes emergency funding for creative sector through National Endowment for the Arts and National Endowment for the Humanities, expanded unemployment insurance, SBA loans.
- Artist Relief Fund: announced 4-8-20. A $10 million national emergency relief fund for artists and creative workers that will provide $5,000 no-strings-attached grants. It is intended for anyone who earns income from their creative or artistic practice and who has also been affected by COVID-19, including anyone whose livelihood and/or community depends upon the ability to make, exhibit, perform, publish, or sell artwork.

Badger Bounce Back business guidelines, released 5-8-20
Businesses looking to keep workers, customers, and families safe while “turning the dial” toward reopening can now draw on a series of publications to keep them informed of best practices and safety tips, with general guidelines for all businesses to follow as well as industry-specific advice, such as for restaurants, retailers, manufacturers, professional offices, farmers, manufacturers, builders, hotel and motel operators, barbers, personal care services and other fields. - Small Business 20/20 – grants for small businesses and micro-enterprises adversely economically impacted by the COVID-19 Virus.
- Strategies for Small Businesses to Navigate COVID-19 Challenges: Downtown District and Business Coronavirus Response: Ideas and Resources
- Wisconsin Humanities Council CARES Act relief grants. Open to non-profit organizations that provide humanities programming as a significant part of their mission and are facing finanical hardship due to COVID-19. Round 2 of this grant will be open in June and applications will be due in July.
- Chippewa Valley Artists Relief Fund, organized by Ambient Inks
- Mini-Grant program to support Superior/Douglas County individual artists, organized by Superior Council for the Arts. Deadline 5-15-20.
- Footlights Performing Arts Relief Fund, organized by Footlights, Inc.
- Artist Relief Fund for Milwaukee area artists, organized by Imagine MKE
- Lyden Sculpture Garden in Milwaukee has a list of emergency resources and opportunities for visual artists

- COVID-19 Northwest Wisconsin Response Fund of the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation, in partnership with the Head of the Lakes United Way, for Ashland, Bayfield, and Douglas Counties.
- The Greater Milwaukee Foundation in partnership with local philanthropists and funders, has created the MKE Responds Fund.
- Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region (based in Appleton, WI) created the COVID-19 Community Response Fund.
- Racine Community Foundation and the United Way of Racine county have joined forces to establish the Racine County COVID-19 Relief Fund.

National – resources and funds for independent creative workers and arts organizations:
- The Booz Allen Foundation Innovation Fund is a newly established fund for nonprofits, small businesses, innovators at colleges and universities, and entrepreneurs to address urgent social issues raised during the COVID-19 crisis. Funding range is $10,000 – $100,000. Deadline June 5.
- Grantmakers for Girls of Color has announced the ‘Love is Healing Response Fund’ to address immediate impacts of COVID-19 on girls and gender expansive youth of color. These one-time grants of up to $25,000 to nonprofit organizations led by women or girls of color will be awarded on a rolling basis from May through November.
- LÜM Cares, an initiative from Madison based music streaming company to help financially support artists

- Actors Fund open to actors and other creative creative workers
- Arts Administrators of Color Network set up a GoFundMe campaign for BIPOC artists and administrators.

- Dramatists Guild Foundation – relief fund supporting individual playwrights, com posers, lyricists, and bookwriters.
- EqualSound – relief fund supporting musicians who have lost gigs due to the pendemic.
- Forbes – list of ways to apply for emergency funds.
- Gottlieb Foundation: Funding is available to painters, printmakers, or sculptors who have been working for at least 10 years and have recently undergone an unforeseen catastrophic event, such as a fire, flood, or medical emergency.
- New York Foundation for the Arts provides a variety of emergency grants for artists living and working in the U.S.
- Pollock–Krasner Foundation, Inc. offers financial assistance to individual visual artists of established ability through an emergency relief grant.
- Springboard for the Arts has several resources and relief funds.
- Musicians Foundation is accepting aid applications.

MusiCares Covid-19 Relief – musicians and music industry workers, including singers, engineers, producers, live sound engineers, session players, road crew, agents, publicists, and managers are eligible for $1,000 MusiCares Covid-19 Relief grants.

The Otto Bremer Trust has launched a $50 million emergency fund to support community organizations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Montana

- A list of resources for freelance artists and performers – specifically designed to serve freelance artists, and those interested in supporting the independent artist community. This includes, but is not limited to, actors, designers, producers, technicians, stage managers, musicians, composers, choreographers, visual artists, filmmakers, craft artists, teaching artists, dancers, writers & playwrights, photographers, etc. Curated by an independent group of advocates, used by Forbes and Freelancers Union.

- The U.S. Census Bureau released a new resource page on census.gov to help federal agencies, businesses and communities make decisions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Similar to the Census Bureau’s resource pages created during natural disasters, this resource page includes information on population demographics, economic indicators and businesses. It features a new interactive data hub that centralizes data previously released from the American Community Survey and the County Business Patterns program to facilitate users’ access to data useful in pandemic-related decision-making. The data hub, released as a beta version, will be updated periodically as the situation changes and as feedback is received from users.
