Right here, right now – it’s never been important to invest in what matters, and to speak up for the arts and creativity as the way for Wisconsin.  On Arts Day, Arts Wisconsin and its constituents call for investment in the arts and creativity as an investment in economic vitality, education for the 21st century, healthy, vibrant communities, and engaged residents

Arts Day includes:

  • The annual Arts Day Breakfast
  • Speakers on economic, workforce and community development
  • Awards presentation
  • Constituent team meetings with legislators and administration officials, throughout the day
  • Discussions and workshops on economic, educational, leadership, and civic issues in the arts and creativity

Now in its 23nd year, Arts Day brings together hundreds of arts, business, education, government, political and civic leaders representing Wisconsin's diversity, heritage and creativity to tell decision-makers that the arts and creativity are an important part of the lives of every resident of the state and are critical to Wisconsin's economic, workforce development, educational and civic competitiveness and success.

The resulting impact of our united voices-representing rural and urban, northeastern to southwestern and everywhere in between, for-profit and not-for-profit, musicians, sculptors, tap dancers and creative entrepreneurs of all sorts - on arts support is profound.
