Arts Wisconsin has teamed up with Make Music Day, a worldwide celebration of music, to get people, organizations, businesses and communities throughout Wisconsin interested and involved in music and community, and to promote Make Music Day in Wisconsin as an annual event. Make Music Day happens each year on the summer solstice, June 21.
In Wisconsin, Appleton, Land O’Lakes, Madison, Milwaukee, Platteville, and Reedsburg are already part of the statewide celebration, and we’re working hard to bring more communities on board starting in 2020.
Sign up for an informational webinar about Wisconsin’s participation in Make Music Day on Tuesday, December 3 at 12 noon CST, featuring Aaron Friedman, Director of the Make Music Alliance. The webinar will provide information about the global Make Music Day event and Make Music Wisconsin participation by communities large and small throughout the state. Musicians and performers, elected officials, for-profit and non-profit businesses, educators, civic leaders, and the general public are invited to participate.
Here’s a flyer with more information about Make Music Day.
