Donate to America's Black Holocaust Museum
Thank you for your generous donation to America’s Black Holocaust Museum!
ABHM was founded in 1984 in a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, storefront by Dr. James Cameron, the only known survivor of a lynching. In 1988 ABHM acquired a spacious free-standing building, where it expanded its exhibits and received some 25,000 local, regional, national and international visitors annually. The concurrent deaths of the founder and a primary financial backer, combined with the country’s economic downturn, forced the museum to give up its facility in 2008.
Now ABHM is using 21st century technologies to be reborn as a unique, cutting-edge, interactive, virtual museum. This cost-effective online format makes ABHM available to people in this country and around the world who would otherwise have no access to its information and resources.
Your donation supports the development and expansion of America’s Black Holocaust Virtual Museum, including the production of exhibits, videos, learning games and other interactive features. In addition, it lays the groundwork for the reestablishment of our bricks-and-mortar facility.
